Connect to OuchNet over TLS at irc.ouch.chat:6697, browse the server list, use webchat, or learn about official channels and network features.

OuchNet is built on a foundation of open conversation, with two network-wide rules:

  1. No CSAM distribution or discussion.
  2. No network attacks or spamming.

Everything else is left to channel owners. Individual channels may set additional rules and moderation policies.

Our IRC server linkage runs over an internal WireGuard network.

Uncommon channel modes

chanhistory

The InspIRCd chanhistory module enables channel mode +H.

For example, +H 100:4w replays the last 100 messages, up to a maximum age of four weeks, for users joining the channel.
