Connecting Via Tor

Connect to OuchNet over Tor with the network onion address, TLS fingerprint, and registration instructions.

Before using the onion service, connect over clearnet to irc.ouch.chat and register your NickServ account.

OuchNet’s Tor endpoint is:

Keep in mind

  • Tor connections require SASL and TLS. Use the TLS fingerprint or disable certificate verification in your client.
  • Tor connections must use the .onion address; direct clearnet connections are not supported for Tor users.
  • Spamming through Tor can result in deletion of the NickServ account.

When connected through Tor correctly, you will receive an ouchnet/tor/user cloak.
